Demons Angels Exorcised

Congratulations to Hideki Matsui and the Yankees on a much deserved comeback victory. This one, after so many tough defeats by the Angels, was certainly due. With 18 innings on Thursday, and another 9 last night, LA was surely prone to tire. We’re glad that collapse came, even if at the last moment. Bully, and a nice debut for Mr. Chacon.

  • Los Demonios del Diablo are the only team with a winning record against Torre’s Yankees, and it’s particularly nice to get to K-Rod. Matsui’s swing was perfect, and the ball flew to the gap.
Did Chacon get by on adrenaline, or will he be that good again? If he is, Pavano and Wright are no lock to move ahead of him.

  • You’ll not see THAT bullpen implode like that two days in a row all year. Unbelievable.
Are Pavano or Wright a lock to move ahead of anyone? One hasnt had a good start against a good team yet, and the other is a former Brave, so he’ pretty much guaranteed to never have another good start.
