ARod took Doc deep in his first at bat, and Lars Anderson hit a granny for the Sox. When my phone woke up and started spitting me box scores from the grapefruit and cactus leagues, I just about wept with joy.
What a beautiful thing is baseball.

Awesome. Forgot to set my DVR for spring training games – need to get on that tonight.
Watching Pineda pitch right now against Crapadelphia…2 K’s and no runs in the first.
Baseball is back baby.
2 scoreless innings for Pineda.
Well done big boy. Well, he’s actually the same size as me more or less so you know he is sweet…
Nunez got nailed on the hand…doesn’t look good.
He’s taken out of the game.
You’re killing me! Actually, i love it. Keep the updates coming. Wish I could watch…would love to see Pineda.
I can only watch the first couple innings of these games…see the regulars. Once the scrubs start playing it’s unwatchable.
Oh man, I’ve missed baseball. Haven’t watched any with MLB.tv yet, but checking the box scores the day after is such a nice, warm feeling.
I already took Opening Day off and am making plans to see a game in the Bronx in June…excitement is building!!!
Nicest feeling the other day. My neighbor and I flipped each other off smiling.
He is a Yanks fan after all.
Great to be able to speak baseball again!!
