This is Isaac at his first ever pro baseball game, yesterday. While we aren’t overly strict or ungenerous as parents, we are happy to say we were able to hold out on this experience until we could do it right. Meaning at Fenway Park.

Isaac had a blast, and then Jacoby (his favorite player) hit one to end the game.

A sweet night.

  • What a first game for the little fella.
Man. We’re hitting the ball hard, but not finding any holes tonight.

  • Stories like this one me very happy. Jacoby is gerbil’s favorite Sock as well. Congratulations, SF family.
At the beginning of this spring, my son asked when we were going to a baseball game again. I told him soon, but I wasn’t sure how soon. Portland, get your act together and bring baseball back to Portland. Boston comes to Seattle next weekend. Hmm.

  • This is a great post SF. Glad you got such a good game in for his first.
I’m biding my time to take my daughters to Yankee Stadium – right now the older would likely last about 1 inning.
