I’m a Republican, and I thought it was funny. That’s a part of Bush’s MBA style– he says things publicly like employees are doing a superb job when he’s dressing them down in private.
So, the award should go to a player who sucks, but the manager tells the press that he doesn’t.
I was prepared to nominate BK Kim, but Terry Francona basically said he stunk. Maybe I actually get the award for saying that Cesar Crespo was useful in an earlier post, if we use Teddy Ballgame MVP’s criteria!
