Red Sox: 2
You beat our AA pitching staff. Hooray for you.
YF has entered the pathetic zone. Just imagine a Sox fan posting something like this after a playoff series loss, and the ridicule it would inspire. I’ll try to leave YF alone – he has clearly hit rock bottom, taunting us after a win in a split-squad spring training game. It’s hard not to laugh.
Actually, it’s impossible to leave him alone – I take that back. I have this image of a slumped, maniacal YF, sitting at home in the dark, muttering, watching replays of the ALCS game 7, continually pinching himself trying to wake himself from what he thinks is a nightmare.
Who’s overreaching now!
NY won the first game last year. The Sox won the last game last year.
See y’all in October…Boston:
KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Chipper Jones drilled a two-run homer to help the Braves gain an 8-2 win and sour Randy Johnson’s Yankees debut at Cracker Jack Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Johnson, who was obtained from the Diamondbacks in January, allowed two runs on two hits in two innings. His Grapefruit League debut was delayed until this week to allow his sore left calf a few more days to heal.
Jones’ home run to left field followed a Brian Jordan single that ended the Big Unit’s perfect run against the Braves. This was his first game against them since throwing a perfect game at Turner Field on May 18 of last year.
Jordan and Jones both provided two hits for the Braves, who have won their first six Grapefruit League games. The Yankees managed just five hits from a traveling contingent that included Alex Rodriguez, Gary Sheffield and Derek Jeter.
Braves starter Mike Hampton allowed just one hit over three scoreless innings. Braves starting pitchers haven’t allowed a run since Grapefruit League action began.
Wake up Red Sox fans its pre season. You want to remember the last time who did what, and if I was a Dead Sox fan the last team I would bring up for references is Atlanta the Red sox of the National league. They’ve been there done that (nothing+nothing=nothing).
I have a brother and we’re always competing against each other. I win naturally, but on one day after years and years of trying he did the impossible and beat me.I was happy for him,but deep down I knew it was luck. Yankees up 3 games to 0. Congratulations to my brother and the Yankees little Red Sox. Lets not mention names, days, or numbers again. Why because ,there not in your favor. I bet on the sure thing and sometimes you dont win. The sure thing is always better than impossible. Fenway is the Bombers door mat.
It’s a doormat with the 04 WS tropy on it, so let’s not get carried away. Maybe you brother has beaten you because you rely on beating him the same way every time, and finally he has figured out that you are getting older, slower, and you just can close it the way you used to. Perhaps if you go out and spend another 20 or 25 million on some help, you will be able to do it next year. Perhaps, you will spend that money and realize your core is stil the same beaten and dejected reasons you lost in the first place. And, just for reference we won in Yankee Stadium, so who’s is the doormat? Please think before you type moron.
Yawkeydog your my bitch. I have no trouble acknowledging what took place.Only pricks like you would mention dollars when it comes to a multi million dollar sport. New York generates more money so hey dont hate the players hate the game oh no I mean hate the front office and the ownership for not having the BALLS to go out and get the talent. Sometimes you take a loss but you know what its work out more times for us than it has for you. Also I cant believe im actually hearing a Dead Sox fan tell a Yankee about dejection and loss.Come on Fenway is a basement, and just for references go ask Bucky about doormats,Moron*2.Im truly touched with your 1 flag, it should say done nothing since when 1918 and probably wont ever again. Good luck to my brother, no my son yawkeydog.
