Hard To Give A Shift: PaleSox-Yanks

Mark Buerhle vs. Bartolo Colón. Frankly, after last night’s crush of the Sabres and the Bombers, I’ll be hard-pressed to get worked up over sports right now. I’m saving my emotions until I can kick my dog, who happens to be a Philly fan. I know this because she ate my waiting cheese steak when my line changed and I wasn’t there to throw down my gloves. But I will watch me some game anyway.

Oh, by the way sincerely a happy birthday to Krueg. Glad to have you around these parts, pardner. Go Yankees.

  • On the espn tracker on my bberry the very first thing it shows (before “Jeter walked”) is “O. Guillen ejected”. What the hell? In the bottom of the first?? Anyone see what actually happened?

  • He got into an argument on when or when not to bunt…it got heated. ;)

  • The ball is really carrying tonight. Either that or Buehrle is off.

  • We can’t even say things like “The Big Guy is on the mound for us tonight” anymore. The Big Guy could be anybody.
That said, let’s hope this Big Guy pitches well again tonight.

  • Even with the losses, the Yanks have been pitching pretty well recently.

  • Yankees win on my birthday! We needed that one! Bartolo is a chubby golden god…like me. :)
The wife got me a sweet Yankees tee and the greatest present of all-time…a Yankee Mr. Potato Head!
The bats need to wake up though. We’ve been struggling since we got home? So weird.
    Thanks for the love AG!

  • Lar, I’m shocked about the performances we’re seeing from Garcia and Bartolo. I think Larry Rothschild deserves some recognition. Bartolo was hitting 96 MPH with great control tonight.
Gives hope to over the hill fatties everywhere.

  • So the yankee starting pitching – particularly Ivan Nova, Bartolo Colon, and Freddy Garcia – have been a source of strength, esp. In the last two weeks, and their bullpen over that same period has been relatively disstrous.
Yep, just like we all predicted.
    I love baseball.

  • Who is better looking…Bartolo or Irabu? Is it just me or do they look similar???
Awesome, right Lar? I’ve got his batting arms on now to help with the offense.
