In Which the Yankees Beat the Astros: Yanks-Stros Gamer II

It’s Kuroda for the Yanks and Cosart for the Astros. The Yankees’ nominal “1-2” starters might be collectively worse than their nominal “3-5”. But it’s the Astros (improved, but hardly a force). Comment away.

  • Is Kuroda that good or is Villar that bad? Or maybe that’s the wrong question.

  • Lull them into a false sense of security by not scoring runs often or ever. Then work a long at bat into a strikeout. At least Teix was swinging, sort of.

  • Dexter Fowler has a God-given baseball name and has hit a home run and a triple. I honestly hope he works the cycle in reverse.. double here buddy!

  • Damn it, Fowler. Did I put on too much pressure? Singles for me, please. Beat out the throw. At least Robbie Grossman knows how to hit his first triple in the bigs, ever. What am I doing? I’d rather see the ‘stros have a guy hit for the cycle rather than have the Yankees win a game?
