“Not One For the Time Capsule”

We couldn’t agree more with Michael Kay, but a win is a win and we’ll take it. Certainly one of the all-time worst performances from our hero, the Yankee captain: 0-5, 3 ks, 2 errors, 6 men left on base. We hope his apartment isn’t flooded. It was that kind of night. The only good news: the Mets looked even worse. Woof. Okay. We’ll chalk it up to the crappy weather and jet lag from that very pleasant West Coast swing.

PS: Can anyone out there read lips? Was Brown upset on the bench after he was pulled for Sierra? He was lucky—very, very lucky—to last as long as he did.

  • Just a note. On BBTN yesteday, Jeff Brantley praised the brilliant pitching of Kevin Brown. Seriously. Floating on the edge of catastrophe is not brilliance. We cringe at the prospect of his next start against a decent hitting team with a DH.
