Talk about a rough way to start a long west coast swing. Grab the early lead in 2 games only to ennd up losing by 1 each time. Hope we still have something to watch for after Jeter reaches 3,000!
I turned it off after Nova imploded…knowing our pathetic offense couldn’t possibly score any more runs. And now I read Mariano blew the game??? Again???
Let’s be honest. We had a nice run the last 16 years, we really did. We are finished. Mark it down, this team is fucking finished.
No killer instinct. No passion. No chance.
I think I’m taking the rest of the road trip off from this team. Watching them fold against inferior competition is too much for me. Fuck them.

adding insult to injury we’ve had to stay up late to watch both heartbreakers…my head is where your head is at krueg…in fact, my head is where sf’s was just a few short weeks ago…the season is over…not only are the yanks playing poorly and making mistakes, they don’t seem to be getting many breaks…that game-winning hit late night wasn’t delivered by adam kennedy, no, it was the ghost of luis gonzalez…
Staying up late to watch a team fold on the west coast is just about the worst. We know the feeling.
Ok, off topic. Why do I listen to sports radio? While running and listening to Boston’s 98.5, we get this from the host in consecutive sentences:
“home ice is worth next to nothing. Now
I think it helped the Bruins in game 7. But it is really worth next to nothing”.
I may have mangled a couple of words but this is what he said.
I don’t know, why -do- you?
Though the Bruins seem to play better on the road anyway, have you noticed?
“…While running…” …you can’t outrun stupidity sf…it’ll getcha every time you turn on the radio, espn, or read the sports page…
by the way, i didn’t know buck and mac doing hockey commentary now…
