Now What? Yanks-Jays “Gamer”

Not that we’ve seen one since before the break. The Yankees gave up seven last night while only scoring one run. That’s 23 runs for the jaybirds in the last two. Maybe Ricky Romero will give up a few to the Bombers early and C.C. gits this rig back on the rails — he’s allowed no runs in 23.2 — while going for seven in a row. Comment away.

  • “Maybe Ricky Romero will give up a few to the Bombers early…”
Good one AG but you actually need some hitters in order to score runs. Which we don’t have. Because we suck.
Best case scenario is CC goes CG again and we somehow get an unearned run.

  • Leadoff walk for CC…here we go again. Looks like I’ll be turning this game off early too.
    As I’m typing…stolen base.
    Fuck this.

  • C.C. starts the bottom of the eighth with his eighth K.

  • Mo time.

  • Now what? That’s what. C.C. for eight innings, Mo for the save (with a wee bit of drama). Ball game.
