So, will Damon, ARod, Jeter, Giambo, Posada and Matsui be spending much time in the International League where they would face him?

Don’t laugh. Sabathia probably weighs more than Colon, and I don’t see Hank having the patience for The Great Rookie Starter Experiment of 2008. He’s gonna fold and CC’s gonna get rich.

I would be just fine with CC Sabathia on the 2009 Yankees.

Tired of the fat jokes. It has nothing to do with whether or not he can pitch.
“It has nothing to do with whether or not he can pitch.”
Actually, it probably has a lot to do with why he only got a minor league deal this offseason.

Perhaps if he kept himself in shape he wouldn’t be having all the physical issues he’s been having.

I haven’t commented on this yet simply because I’m going to wait and see. This guy could very well be in excellent pitching shape, and go onto carve up home plate for 25 starts this year. Or not. Either way, I’ll wait.

Colon is big. But is he really much bigger than he’s been in past years? I mean, the guy was never exactly svelte.

You guys are missing by far the best part of that picture… At first I thought “omg!! he’s going to be so deceptive with that 3rd arm he grew!” Then I realized that he had actually gotten to the point where he completely blocks out the guy thats standing 2ft behind him lol
I hear Bartolo Colon wishes he could be as svelte as Mo Vaughn.
(Salivating…)

Damon – .370 .433 .537 (60 PA)
A-Rod – .431 .456 1.059 (57 PA)

Giamb – .313 .389 .563 (36 PA)
Posad – .259 .394 .593 (33 PA)

Man, Will, thanks for pointing that out.
I am not sure that is so bad. Vinny P. looks pretty good with a bat. Check it
out. ;-)
