Some random underwear-clad basement-dweller (we kid!) has apparently scooped Buster Olney, Peter Gammons, Jerry Crasnick, Gordon Edes, et al with a story about Tex to the Sox.
It would be hysterical if it were true, and this blogger would rightfully become very famous. We have our (very large) doubts.

Is there a reason why I can’t connect to any of the archived material? When you click on the link on the site, there is a server failure.
It looks like the combined powers of the blogosphere overloaded this poor guy’s servers.
Not having the same problem as you guys. Keep trying.
I see it now. More interesting to me is the post entitled “This Isn’t The Only Thing I’d Love To Shove In Alicia Keys Mouth. All Right!”
It also helps the credibility when your blog has a category called “spank bank”.
You can all figure out what’s in the category without me linking, I think.
This is the only thing I want for Christmas.
But this guy is SUSPECT.
Being both a blogger and a member of the MSN (so no biases from me here!), I’m gonna go ahead and put a bit more weight in the MASN report that says the Nationals have upped their offer to eight years, $178-184m, and are willing to go nine, maybe even 10, years.
And I’m not even sure how credible THAT source is…

If the Nationals got Teixeira, they’d need to unload Nick Johnson. Hmm.
Nats potential line-up froma poster on mlbtradrumors:
SP:
Strasburg
J.Zimmermann
Lannan
Balester
Hill/Martis/Olsen
Lineup
1B- Teix
C- Flores
2B-Harris
SS-Guzman
3B-R.Zimmerman
LF-Willingham
CF-Milledge
RF-Dukes
Not the worst, especially if Hill makes a come-back.
Paul – what’s the MSN?
And I would welcome Nick back with wide-open arms. If the Yankees sign Manny, move one of Nady or Damon and trade for Nick the Stick, I would be a happy camper.
Haha, MSM (mainstream media). Must have already jumped to “MASN” before I was done with my thought.
