In Yankee news, C.C. got his elbow greased and should be ready for opening day. Tonight, Doug Fister and Madison Bumgarner take the mound. Comment away.
“Fister” and “Bumgarner”.
This could end awkwardly…
Fister took a drive to the head and still worked all that magic. Great pitcher’s duel.
2 hits…tigers doing their best impression of the yankees
Number of games played by AL teams this season (including the Wild Card game and World Series): 27 games
Number of games where either (AL) team scored more than 3 runs: 7 games
If we say more than 4 runs, that drops the total to: 6 games
If we leave out the Wild Card game: 5 games
I know runs are at a premium against good pitching, but this seems like a historically bad year for offense in the AL playoffs.
Oh wait…it’s only 17 games, durrrrr. I was counting both DS’s.
both the AL/NL DS’s, that is. GAH!
