Seve-Worthy

Seve Ballesteros once hit his tee shot into a car park at The Open and still made birdie on the hole, and eventually went on to win the championship.  Beckett blanked the Mariners last night, striking out nine over seven innings and allowing four hits, distancing himself from the numerous duffs in his last round.  Seattle (actually Ichiro) mounted their only real threat in the sixth inning, with Suzuki singling in the infield, and then stealing second and third, but a flyout rendered Ichiro's efforts fruitless.

Nice up and down.
