Manhattan has a new skyscraper: Randy Johnson. The Big Unit will be making his home on the 58th floor of a $25k-a-month, five-bedroom condo on Upper Broadway. Amenities include a library, a formal dining room, and 10-foot-high walls of glass with views in three directions. Reports are that he’s a big fan of nearby Patsy’s Italian Restaurant on 56th Street (Sinatra ate there), but we’ll keep an eye out for him at Masa.

Patsy’s? Are you kidding me? I know Randy’s a newcomer, but that’s scraping the bottom of the barrel, pie-wise.
Where does he go for Manhattan’s finest “authentic” Italian? The Olive Garden?
Not Patsy’s the pizza joint, Patsy’s the old-school eye-talian. Check your Zagats.
Ah. That’s better, you have to admit.
What does RJ need a library for? You’re not tellin’ me the bumpkin kin reed, r u?
Obviously he’s gonna need a room for the Cy and MVP trophies for which SF already has him slated. Also, we understand he likes to relax between starts by translating the samizdat works of the Russian absurdist Danil Kharms.
