Nick Blackburn is on the mound for the Twins, who face Boston's Josh Beckett at Fenway in the final game of a four-game series. Comment away.

Josh is having anofher quality start, just needs some more run support. Nice that tek got a double and scored. Gonzo came through again.
1-11 with RISP tonight. When is this going to turn around?
If you think umpires should be replaced with machines, example A would be the 0-2 pitch from Acees just now. Literally right down the middle and called a ball. Pathetic.
Tough AB by Kubel there. Great pitched game tonight.
Ugh.
Horrible call by West there. And Gardenhire gets tossed. Gardenhire may be my favorite opposing manager.
It always annoys me when a pitcher jumps off the mound and points frantically in the air like that after a fly ball to the outfield. Has any outfielder in history ever found a ball he was tracking in the sky thanks to the pitcher’s pointing? I think not.
Ouch. Not even going to say it. That was a brutal way to follow-up on the break that put Varitek on first.
I’m out. If the Sox pull this out, I don’t particularly want to see it. And if they don’t, I’m sure no sf will miss my commentary. Looking forward to the Yanks next 16-games-in16-nights stretch, which begins tomorrow! Night all.
That was ugly. I know tek wouldn’t have done that, lol. I’m ready for bed.
I’m with you iron horse, drives me nuts as well.
West missed stike three there to Hughes.
Two on, 1 out, Tolbert Ks.
Oki making us shade our eyes.
Ugly big Papi.
You suck, West. Terrible, an embarrassment.
Missed a DP chance, 1st and 3rd, 2 outs, top 11th.
Oki gets out of it, for the second straight inning.
Carl drives in Iglesias from first with wall ball. Joe C says its the Sox first win with fewer than 3 runs.
Good win. Carl with a nice drive through the wind. Worth staying up and enduring the frustration. Carl’s having a tidy little May so far.
But what’s up with Pedey? Holy slump.
Wish I had watched this. Maybe we can hit .500 tonight?
Hoey isn’t a very good pitcher, but that was a pretty good AB there by Crawford. Nothing epic, 7 pitches. But he fouled off a couple before he got the pitch he wanted.
