  • This blows. Masterson gets traded away and sucks…against every team but the Sox. We can’t afford to lose these games. C’mon Offense!

  • Bizarre sequence: Tito comes out a second time to check out Lester, gets quickly shaken off and Lester throws a 2 – 0 meatball on the next pitch. 4 – 0 Indians.

  • …and now Lester’s done.

  • I stopped watching the instant that they pinch hit Bill Hall for Kalish. Dumbest move of the night.
Well, that and not putting Lowell at first and V-Mart behind the plate.
Cash is the absolute worst baseball player I’ve ever seen stick around on a MLB roster in a long, LONG time.

  • I somehow missed that Youkilis had gotten hurt. I’ve been sort of under a rock sports-wise lately. That is unreal. Is there any starter on the Sox who has NOT missed substantial time due to injury this year?? Ortiz? Drew? I feel for you guys – honestly do. What a crummy season. It’s actually impressive they aren’t out of the race by double-digits.

  • Well, NESN and Carron are now reporting that Terry Francona has informed the press that there is absolutely no chance that Youkilis will be back at all this year – regular or post season. And, they’re lucky that he’s ever going to play baseball again, as the tear is almost unfixable. I guess the whole thing is really beat up and could have ruined his career.

  • Wow…Youk is out for the season now too. Brutal, brutal season for the Sox. It’s impossible to win in our division with injuries like that…i.e. Yankees in ’08.
