The Royals, losers of 13 consecutive games, including one last night in which they were ahead by six—in the first inning no less—come in to the Stadium tonight to face our Bombers, who put the resurgent Cy-candidate Mike Mussina on the hill. Unfortunately, he will be throwing to Kelly Stinnett, as Jorge Posada is sidelined for an indeterminate period with a pulled hamstring tendon. Consider this your thread for all tonight’s action in the Bronx. Go team.

Anymore word on Posada? Sounds scary. Tear in the tendon was what I heard.
Reggie Sanders off Mussina. I’m just hoping Giambi can break out big from this funk he’s in.
3-0 KC into the third. Just what i was worried about.
Posada day-to-day, theoretically.
Scott Elarton continues his dominance of MLB batters. Man that guy is unstoppable–Hall of Fame? Yanks seem to think so.
Congrats to Jeets on 2000!
Can we get to Elarton?
Giambi with game tying, 2 run double!
Now we just need Giambi to steal third. He has one stolen base and has never been caught stealing (this year). He’s sort of our Scott Posednik.
Wow. Quiet thread.
Farnsworth really imploded tonight it seems. I should have stayed at work.
Wow, I’ve got to admit, ARod’s been doing well in the clutch tonight.
ouch. if a tree falls in the woods…..
