Robbie Cano just went yard off Jarrod Parker to make it 2-0 Yanks in the top of the 1st. Facing Kuroda, that’s a heck of a hill to climb. Comment away.
Robbie hit a bomb. That was fun.
I would love it if we would just win a bunch of games and hit the ball all over the field and pitch well and play great defense and just win.
Here we go again…
Hiroki was cruising through the first 2 innings…
Now he’s given up a leadoff walk, single, double-steal, RBI groundout…
2-1, guy on 2nd, 1 out.
It seems like we always have that one inning where everything falls apart.
Another sweep in the works.
I don’t want to think that this is the real Yankees. I really don’t.
I just wish our stars would play like it more often.
Hafner and Youk K.
Now we get walked off.
RISP the last 3 innings.
Hafner and Youk failed, again. And then Vernon, who is about 3-for-his-last-800 K’s to add to the misery.
Our offense is beyond terrible. It’s scary bad. No one has the ability to come up with a big hit. Seemingly ever.
Bases loaded. Again.
Tex pops out to the infield. What is he hitting, .120?
They need to do the yearly closed door/player only meeting thing. Immediately.
Incredible game-saving play at the plate…
Wells with a perfect throw to Stewart who gets bulldozed but holds on for the out.
We go to the 16th. Leave a couple more on base. Set some kind of record.
This is the most boring, gut-wrenching, horrifying piece-of-shit game I have ever seen in my life.
It’s like the Yankees just have all forgotten how to hit. They look foolish and lost. It’s sad and embarrassing. Just lose already. It would be the perfect ending to this game rape I have endured for the last 5.5 hours.
Tex, Hafner, Youk and Wells:
20 baserunners stranded.
This team looks lost.
Today, work is a blessing.
Youk back to the DL.
He is worthless anyway.
