Who You Callin’ Woe-mack?

A very nice win, though it’s too bad Wang won’t get full credit in the box score. As for Tony’s clutch hit, well, we sure are happy it happend, but we’d still rather see Andy Phillips at second (and why the heck was he bunting in the 9th?!).

  • I really can’t remember the last time YankeeLand was so elated to pull of a April win agains Toronto. The Wang kid looked pretty good, and I could not agree any more with the decision to send Gordon out to ruin it..:) Like myself with Alan Embree, YF has to be getting tired of watching this guy come out of the pen only to put a 88mph egg over the heart of the plate for some lucky guy to obliterate.

  • I am starting to think that my 93 year old grandmother could do just as well coming out of the bull pen or even as a starter maybe. It’s been brutal to watch. I finally get high speed & mlb.tv & this is the season’s start I have been rewarded with. Things better get better soon. I can’t believe George hasn’t hung someone from the bleechers yet.

  • My guess is that Big Stein is preoccupied with Bellamy Road at the moment. If the Derby sees an upset, however, expects heads to start a-rollin’…

  • Ynakee fans asking for the kind or Steindumber brainless reactions that got us to this point in the first place? People please, best thing Steindumber can do is to go away never to be heard from again. Let Gene Michael run the team again.

  • they are playing like absolute garbage. I’ve gone to 7 games so far and seen only 2 wins and have still yet to see mariano rivera get into a game. How is it possible for a team of allstars to play this bad? Hopefully we can beat up the D-rays this week and gain some kind of confidence.
